Pick up time
Your hotel
At 5:00 AM, we will pick you up by an air-conditioned coach from your hotel in Hurghada then we will head to Luxor, which is 280 kilometers from Hurghada.
The burial ground for Egypt’s 18th to 20th dynasty rulers, featuring tombs of notable figures such as the renowned Pharaoh Ramses II and the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun, is well-stocked with material possessions that were believed to be necessary for the afterlife. The interior decorations of these tombs are predominantly in excellent condition. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore three tombs. If you desire to witness the tomb of the young Pharaoh Tutankhamun, there will be an additional charge of 300 Egyptian Pounds.
The Colossi of Memnon are a pair of immense stone statues of King Amenhotep III that are the sole remnants of an entire mortuary temple. The statues were crafted from blocks of quartzite sandstone sourced from Cairo, then transported 700 kilometers to Luxor. These two colossal structures, dubbed the Colossi of Memnon, tower approximately 18 meters above the ground and represent the last vestiges of what was previously the most extensive complex on the western bank of the Nile, commissioned by Amenhotep III. At roughly midday, you will savor a local meal in a nearby restaurant in Luxor, followed by a visit to the Temple of Karnak Egypt, which happens to be the largest known ancient religious site in the world.
At the Alabaster Factory, witness the uniquely Egyptian craft of alabaster production, which has been sustained for generations and remains a significant source of income for artisans based in the western region of Luxor. Materials such as yellow limestone, black granite, basalt, marble, and national marmar are used in creating Pharaonic antiques that captivate tourists from all over the world. These materials are sourced from the mountainous region of Qurna village, located on the western bank of Luxor, where artisans reside beside ancient temples and civilization symbols.
Queen Hatshepsut Temple is another exciting place to visit during your Luxor Trip from Hurghada. It emerges from the desert plains. It is constructed on a series of terraces that blend seamlessly with the sheer limestone cliffs of Theban Mountain, appearing as if it were an extraordinary monument built by nature itself.
Enjoy an authentic and delicious Egyptian lunch in a local restaurant.
The Temple of Karnak in Egypt is the world’s largest ancient religious site, representing the culmination of generations of builders and Pharaohs, as well as the combined achievements of many ancient structures. The complex comprises three main temples spread over 247 acres of land.
Following your trip, you will be transported back to your Hurghada hotel via private air-conditioned vehicle.
